Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, recently shared her thoughts on her husband, President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that he’s not a greedy leader but one dedicated to making Nigeria great again.
While visiting the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and other traditional rulers at the Ooni’s palace in Ile-Ife, she highlighted the commissioning of the 2.7km Oluremi Tinubu Way and Pavilion at Obafemi Awolowo University. She expressed optimism about the future, saying, “We know the subsidy has been removed, but with God’s help, Nigeria will be even better in the next two years. Those who tried to remove the subsidy before didn’t succeed, but with your prayers, we’re building a nation for the future.”
She also reflected on her and her husband’s journey, stating
“We give glory to God for where we are now. We’re not greedy, and we’re thankful for what we’ve achieved. It’s rare for wealthy individuals to reach this position, and we’re committed to not letting Nigeria down. With God’s guidance, we’re on our way to the promised land.”
