The Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, as public holidays to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr. This announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement released on Wednesday, March 26, through the ministry’s permanent secretary, Magdalene Ajani.
The minister extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across the country for successfully completing the Ramadan fast. Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is a significant celebration for Muslims worldwide, commemorating 29 or 30 days of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
This is a time of joy, community, and gratitude. Wishing everyone celebrating Eid-el-Fitr a wonderful and peaceful festivity!
